Purchases
We actively purchase fine books and entire libraries in all fields. We also purchase, maps, prints, photographs, manuscripts, and ephemera. Please let us know what you have to offer. We will be pleased to talk with you. You will not be under any obligation.

Consignment
If you wish, your single rare items or entire collections can be sold by us on a consignment basis. For a set percentage of the final selling price, the Argonaut Book Shop will handle the evaluation and sale of your material. All contract paperwork, insurance, etc. is provided.

Appraisals
We provide accurate written appraisals of single titles or entire collections for estate or tax purposes. We charge an hourly fee. There is no charge for an initial consultation.

Bookbinding
Bookbinding and restoration services are provided. We work with some of the best binders in the area. Turnaround is usually less than thirty days. Bookbinding and restoration is labor-intensive and costs depend on the specific job and materials used. We provide initial consultation with you on the work to be done.
